Martha Dunkelberger, Ph.D., CCC-SLP

Assistant Clinical Professor

Dr. Dunkelberger joined the University of Houston department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in 1997 following eight years of clinical practice. She is working toward developing a better picture of the developmental progression of phonological systems and literacy skills in preschool and school aged children.

Together with her husband of 20 years, she is the proud parent of a daughter, Erin and a son, Nathan.  She is owned by two Australian Shepherds, Riley and Bailey, and spends most of her free time walking them, combing them or sweeping up after them.
