Graduate Curriculum: Master's Thesis
Graduate students have the option of completing a Master’s Thesis under the direction of one of the faculty members. Students who are considering a Master’s Thesis must earn an “A” in the Research Methods course (COMD 6361) and obtain consent from a faculty member who is willing to act as the thesis committee chair. Students who opt to complete a thesis will substitute Thesis credits for the elective course, and are allowed to not complete written paper requirements in two of their second year courses. Students who complete a thesis also are exempt from taking the comprehensive examination.
